A Realtor with deep experience serving the Twin Cities real estate market has joined the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Area Leaders team.

The brokerage opened in August, becoming the 23rd state into which Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC has expanded. Its the companys first Minnesota-based franchise. Lou Ann Dvorak, who most recently was a new construction Realtor with Shamrock Development, brings to the group more than two decades of results in helping clients navigate their real estate needs.

Lou Ann has built a highly successful career on a commitment to customer service, and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Area Leaders shares that commitment, said Andy Asbury, the companys owner/broker. Her background, which includes experience in all ends of the real estate spectrum, uniquely positions her to ensure her clients success.

Dvorak has spent her professional career working throughout the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. She spent five years as a leasing agent for 21 new construction properties, and then 18 months as the marketing director for the largest local apartment management company in the state. For 12 years, Dvorak was a senior district manager for Oakwood Worldwide, where she worked in corporate housing and relocation, and served a number of Fortune 500 clients. At Shamrock Development, Dvorak was part of a team that sold more than 400 lofts and condos in a six-year period.

While her primary focus will be on the lofts and condos market through Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Area Leaders Urban Properties collection Dvorak also will serve clients buying and selling single-family homes. Shes excited to join the Area Leaders team.
